Folktales: Slenderman x Reader (Piece Three)
I woke up during the night. There was a heavy rain, making loud taps on the roof and my window. I don’t think it was the rain that woke me, though. I felt oddly awake; no grogginess or confusion, as though I’d been awake for hours. I could hear my heart in my ears, feel an icy chill in my body.
Trying to calm myself, I climbed out of bed and went to go downstairs. At the top of the staircase, I noticed something that I don’t think I’d ever seen before. On the wall near the stairs’ post, there was a little drawing. A few trees like the ones on the papers… and the man in a suit with no face. Next to it, in

Romantic I'm Not (Kaidan Alenko x Female Shepard)
Carolina Shepard was known for many things. Saving the galaxy on multiple occasions, against Reapers, against Collectors. She was known to stomp out major-league crime lords and pirates, as well as slavers and corrupt lawmen. What she was not known for, however, was being a romantic. Yeah, no, not her area of expertise. Yet, here she was, trying to figure out how just how much rosemary is too much, and whether or not the candles she bought would really be scentless or were they going to ruin the dinner she was trying to plan. Things were so much easier on the Normandy.
All throughout the morning, she tried to play it off. Kaidan had left b

New Years Party and Dressings
With New Years quickly approaching, meaning only a few hours away, Nora scrounged for things to decorate with. She had nearly forgotten the holiday entirely; luckily Piper reminded her-even if it was very last minute.
An hour later, after going through boxes upon boxes of scavenged Christmas décor, Halloween baubles, and other assorted holiday decorations, the two of them, with the help of a few others, had put together… well… something. Nora thought it conveyed a positive message, at least. Sanctuary now had crepe paper streamers of multiple, brightly-hued colors; red, white, and blue strings of glittering tinsel; gold and

How To Not Kitchen Alistair x Cousland
Amelie wasn’t quite sure what she had expected when becoming queen of Fereldan; would it be constant dealings with nobles, and little to no free time for her and Alistair? She had been plagued with thoughts of just how horrid it would be leading up to the two of them taking the throne. However, much to her surprise, it wasn’t nearly as bad as she worried it would be. They did have to meet with nobles most days, and there was traveling to be done, but she still had quite a bit of time for herself and for the love of her life.
While their time together was always eventful, meaning Alistair or herself ended up tripping and knockin

A Lazy Day, Cullen Rutherford x Female Inquisitor
Much to the Inquisitor’s delight, she had an opening to take a break from her usually duties. Josephine had even insisted on it, saying the last thing they needed was for her to become burnt out from over working herself. So, here she was, watching Commander Cullen train the latest recruits, with demonstrations from himself, Bull, and Krem. Currently, Bull and the Commander were showing different sword techniques, mainly basing around how to best someone who has a shield. She was rather surprised that Cullen could easily keep up with Bull; it even seemed he was besting him. In a quick succession of movement, Cullen rid Bull of his shie

Deacon x F!Sole Survivor: Day 1, Holiday Decor
Nora wasn’t quite sure how Christmas was celebrated in the Commonwealth. Her first Christmas was spent mourning her husband and finding her son, along with all the other things she somehow got dragged into, so she hadn’t had time to really see how the holiday was spent. So, who better to ask than the people who were the main light in her life.
…As it turns out, it’s relatively the same as in her time. Well, minus a few things like the candy canes, proper eggnog (she and Deacon have been experimenting with ingredients… it’s still an ongoing process), and the Christmas pudding. Still, it was Christmas; in f

For a second time, I felt that unnatural chill withdraws from my body and discomfort as my lungs filled with air. My heart raced as I banged on my pod door. I don’t understand how or why I was being released, but that’s not what mattered.
I clambered out, coughing as stale air filled my lungs. I lunged to Nate’s control stand, frantic to get his pod open. Surely what I had seen was a horrid, horrid dream. Nate and Shaun were fine and just simply… Frozen. But as the pod door lifted, and all I saw was the lifeless, frozen, alone body of my husband, reality hit me.
My knees gave out from underneath

The End Made a Beginning, Introduction
I didn’t wake up on October 23rd thinking my entire life would change. I wasn’t thinking that day would be the last I spent happily with my husband and son. I hadn’t thought my world would come to an abrupt, screeching halt, and instead crumble into something crazed, something writers in my time could never have hoped to describe.

Running. I’m glad I stayed in shape, as running to the Vault would have been even less pleasant than it was already. I could barely hear Nate shushing Shaun over my own heartbeat, and the anxious churning of my stomach did little to help me calm down. I saw the gate
